Folch Ropes in collaboration with the marinas has experienced the advantages that suppose the replacement of the anchorage chain line using synthetic ropes.

Constructed on high tenacity polyester and low retraction has a stabilized heat which confer a uniform and long-lasting work.

The use of FOLCH ROPES on dead weight mooring at Marinas means many advantages, especially we highlight:

- The disappearance of galvanic corrosion problem, both on vessels and metal elements present in the anchoring that force a constant review and periodic replacement.
- Total absence of metal parts (chain, shackles and thimbles).
- Lower cost against the chain.
- Lower cost of installation, quick and easy to install.
- High durability; test performed on the extracted ropes after 26 years gave a similar resistance when were installed.
- Minor hazard work in sub-sea work: The rope is an element much more light and manageable than the metallic chain, simplifying and requiring less time of work for placement.

For further information do not hesitate to contact with our technical department in order to make available the installation system KNOW-HOW in the MARINAS and advise you about the full manufacture process and installation
