This 16-strand polypropylene rope is made by high tenacity monofilament fibres.
Thanks to its excellent dielectric characteristics, obtained through additives and specific treatments during the manufacturing process, model 20400E is specially useful in tasks where maximum electric isolation is required: works in high voltage or near the line, power lines, fibre optics installation, etc., both in outdoors and in underground applications. Its anti-rotation construction also provides it a higher resistance than other polypropylene 3 or 4 strand ropes and makes it a very tough one.
In Folch Ropes S. A. we supply in diameters ranging from 10 m/m to 28 m/m.

We recommend to keep the rope clean and dry to assure the highest dielectric properties. If the material is not used in good conditions, we do not assure the highest dielectric protection.
