The Duplex Composite 24400 model is a double braided rope made of high tenacity multifilament polypropylene fibers mixed with polyester.
It is made from two concentric elements: a braided core that supports most of the load, and a cover, also braided into 24 plaits, that protects the internal part.
Through this combination we obtain greater toughness and resistance to friction. All this, together with its buoyancy, make it an ideal rope for the maritime sector, in applications ranging from mooring, anchoring and towing of boats to sport fishing and other nautical activities.
At Folch Ropes it is available in diameters from 22 m/m to 96 m/m.
